Curated Sourcing & Procurement Experience – Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Services

Visionary Abode (“Designer”) provides curated sourcing, procurement coordination, and design implementation services based on the client’s selected investment tiers and approved design direction.

The Designer is responsible for:

  • Sourcing and curating furnishings, materials, and decor
  • Coordinating purchasing on behalf of the client
  • Managing vendor communication and order placement
  • Overseeing design cohesion and selection integrity

The Designer does not manufacture products and is not the vendor of record unless explicitly stated.

2. Procurement Model & Product Selection

All product selections are curated and presented through a guided review process.

Itemized product lists, direct purchase links, or vendor sourcing details are not provided prior to procurement as part of this full-service experience.

Clients retain the option to select a design-only service if they prefer to purchase items independently.

3. Payment Terms

All procurement services require payment in accordance with the approved proposal and invoice.

  • A deposit (if applicable) is required prior to sourcing and order placement
  • Remaining balances must be paid prior to procurement execution unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • No orders will be placed without confirmed payment

All payments are non-refundable once procurement has begun.

4. Vendor Relationships & Third-Party Fulfillment

All products are sourced through third-party vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers.

Visionary Abode acts as a procurement facilitator and is not responsible for:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Production delays
  • Shipping delays or carrier issues
  • Vendor backorders or discontinuations

While reasonable efforts are made to select reputable vendors, final fulfillment is the responsibility of the vendor.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy (IMPORTANT)

All purchases made through Visionary Abode are subject strictly to the individual vendor’s return, exchange, and refund policies.

  • If a vendor offers a return or exchange (e.g., 30-day return window), that policy will be extended to the client
  • If a vendor does not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges, no return, refund, or exchange will be available to the client
  • Custom, made-to-order, or final sale items are typically non-refundable and non-exchangeable

Visionary Abode does not override, extend, or modify vendor policies under any circumstances.

Clients acknowledge and accept all vendor-specific policies at the time of procurement approval.

6. Order Approval & Final Sale Acknowledgment

Prior to order placement, clients will review and approve all selections.

Once approved:

  • Orders are considered final
  • Changes, cancellations, or substitutions may not be possible
  • Additional costs incurred due to changes after approval will be the client’s responsibility

7. Shipping, Delivery & Damages

Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary.

In the event of damage:

  • Claims must be reported within the vendor or carrier’s required timeframe
  • Visionary Abode will assist in facilitating claims but does not guarantee outcomes

White-glove delivery, if selected, is coordinated through third-party providers.

8. Pricing Variability

All pricing provided in proposals and investment summaries is based on estimated sourcing ranges.

Due to market conditions, vendor pricing, and availability:

  • Final pricing may vary
  • Equivalent substitutions may be made when necessary
  • Client approval will be obtained for any material changes

9. Design Integrity

Visionary Abode reserves the right to maintain design integrity throughout the project.

This includes:

  • Selection curation
  • Cohesive material and furniture pairing
  • Final decision-making guidance to ensure a professionally executed result

10. Limitation of Liability

Visionary Abode shall not be held liable for:

  • Vendor-related issues
  • Delays outside of Designer’s control
  • Product performance after installation
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services rendered.

11. Client Responsibility

Clients agree to:

  • Provide timely approvals
  • Review all selections carefully before authorization
  • Understand and accept vendor-specific policies

Delays in communication or approvals may impact project timelines.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing and proceeding with any Interior Design Experience, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
